Coubertin LAD in preparation for Paris 2024

Under the leadership of the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement), the #LAD anti-drone programme has delivered the first 6 #PARADEs from Thales and CS GROUP to the French Air and Space Force, complementing the #MILAD and #ARLAD systems as well as various effectors:

- The #LAD Laser: #HELMA_P
- The jamming rifle: #NEROD
- Drone interceptor: #RapidEagle
- The Electromagnetic Directed Energy Weapon Demonstrator: #TUXEDO

They were deployed during the #COUBERTIN exercise in preparation for the #JOP 2024, in the presence of the Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and the Chief of Staff of the Air and Space Forces.
