CILAS IS BACK ON MARS! FOLLOW OUR PATH ON THE MAP

The Perseverance rover landed on Mars on February 18th with 7 instruments on board, including SuperCam, the main instrument for which CILAS produced a dichroic filter and the treatment of two SuperCam mirrors.

CILAS had already produced the components for ChemCam, SuperCam’s little sister. ChemCam was embarked in the Curiosity rover and took off for Mars in 2012. This is therefore be the second time that CILAS components visit the Red Planet!
